As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, it’s becoming increasingly clear that younger populations are not immune to the virus. Patients under the age of 30 represented 28% of diagnosed cases in the most recent week—the largest age group within diagnosed COVID-19 patients. Fortunately, recent data offers some hopeful news for critical COVID-19 patients who require hospitalization and ventilator use.
